Brown’s was London’s first hotel, and is still one of the most illustrious in the city, but now the five-star hotel is set to score another first for the hotel world, with its latest venture of ‘In-Residence’ programmes. Commissioned to ensure guests enjoy exclusive access to a series of bespoke London experiences, you can enjoy fashion stylists, esteemed critics, Savile Row tailors and more, within the comfort of your hotel room. Bespoke service just reached new levels…
Stylists-in-Residence
Former Fashion Editors, Laura Fantacci & Petronella Stofberg, of Wardrobe ICONS have collaborated with the experts at Brown’s Hotel as Stylists-in-Residence, providing an exclusive opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the expertise of the inimitable duo.

Having worked with top luxury brands such as Matches and Harvey Nichols, the duo are used to offering a tailor-made service suitable for all, whether you’re looking for an outfit for a specific occasion or just looking for a treat whilst in the city. Each guest wanting to use this service will benefit from a customised dressing package by which the stylists will liaise through phone consultations with guests prior to their arrival, allowing Laura and Petronella to focus their brief and select bespoke pieces for their clients to try and buy upon arrival.
There is also the option for suite guests to opt for a Complete Edit which involves a one-to-one styling session in the Sitting Room of their suite during which one of the Stylists-in-Residence will bring carefully-selected clothes, personalised to the client’s specifications.
Bespoke Dressing is available from £1,200 per night with the additional cost of any clothing purchased. A two-night stay in a suite including a Complete Edit is available from £5,200 with the additional cost of any clothing purchased.
Critic-In-Residence
Tom Parker Bowles is also set to join the esteemed panel at Brown’s Hotel. Renowned for broadcasting, food writing and critiquing, Tom is well practiced to personally curate guests’ experiences by choosing from an abundance of outstanding restaurants.
Not only will every guest at the hotel be given a bespoke menu of restaurants carefully selected by Tom himself and David Young, Head Concierge at the Hotel, but guests staying in the suites will have the option to experience Tom’s talents first hand. Like Laura and Petronella, Tom will liaise with guests in advance to formulate a personalised dining experience which will then be presented to guests on an evening of their choice.
Tailor-In-Residence
Another addition to the Brown’s hotel panel is the esteemed Savile Row tailor Huntsman. Available exclusively to those staying in suites, guests will be joined by one of the two Huntsman Head Cutters armed with a selection of luxury cloths, suitings and tweeds.

Clients will be measured and guided through the bespoke process of tailoring from start to finish in the intimate and relaxed setting of their hotel suite. Huntsman has an extraordinary history which stretches back over 165 years, creating impeccable bespoke suiting for the most discerning clientele that includes nobility, royalty, statesmen, iconic Hollywood stars and now Brown’s residents too.
Throughout June and July families staying at Brown’s will receive an exclusive Huntsman gift for fathers: those purchasing a bespoke tailored suit will receive one complimentary for their son or daughter.
Fun-Maker-In-Residence
The world-renowned toy shop Hamleys is set to partner up with Brown’s, appointed to expertly curate lists of London experiences and individually designed in-room toys and treats for all resident families. Ensuring everyone’s needs are met, guests can pre-arrange for toys for their little ones to be waiting in their rooms upon arrival. There is something for all ages and interests, from teddy bears, Monopoly and Billiards, to the more adventurous Star Wars Base Station with walkie-talkies, Hamleys Porsche 911 to race around in and a Popcorn Maker for creating the ultimate in-room cinema nights.
