Gold standard in the wellness Olympics

The Seine River has been cleaned up just in time for the Paris 2024 Olympics, with mayor Anne Hidalgo jumping into the Parisian river for a swim yesterday to prove it’s safe for athletes this summer. And while a dip in the city waterway might technically be possible now, we know how we’d rather traverse the Seine. All aboard the Dior Spa Cruise.

Dior Spa Cruise Summer 2024

Luxury fashion house Dior has announced its third annual Dior Spa Cruise in Paris, to coincide with the 2024 Olympic Games. From 30 July–11 August 2024, the exclusive floating spa will be anchored at Port Henri IV near Île Saint-Louis, offering a unique wellness experience on the Seine River. World-class wellness à côté de the world’s biggest sporting event? Count us in.

The Dior Spa Cruise is housed on the Excellence Yacht de Paris, with a 120m upper deck adorned with the brand’s iconic coral toile de jouy pattern, and features five treatment cabins, including one double, spread across its lower levels.

It’s the perfect place to escape from the buzz of the Olympic hustle and bustle, however there is something aboard for fans of the games, too. This year’s spa experience is designed to complement the Olympic spirit, offering wellness and fitness options divided into three cruise packages: the Care Cruise, the Wellness Cruise, and the combined Care & Fitness Cruise.

What’s On The Menu?

The Care Cruise, priced at €1,150, includes a one-hour facial or body treatment followed by a wellness meal and relaxation time. The Wellness Cruise, at €650, features a one-hour fitness session (yoga or Pilates) along with a wellness meal and relaxation. For those seeking a comprehensive experience, the Care & Fitness Cruise offers both treatments and fitness activities over four hours for €1,800.

New to this year’s offering is ‘Monsieur Dior sur Seine’, an extension of the Avenue Montaigne restaurant. Helmed by chef Jean Imbert, it will serve healthy and tasty dishes for breakfast, brunch, and afternoon tea, emphasising Dior’s holistic approach to wellness.

The spa’s individual treatment menu also includes signature services such as Dior Sculpt Therapy, which combines touch therapy with radiofrequency technology, and Dior Muscle Therapy, inspired by athletes’ recovery programmes. Facial treatments are also on offer, utilising Dior’s signature skincare products.

Post-treatment or fitness session, relax on one of 10 sun loungers in the shade of Dior parasols, or take a dip in the cold plunge pool inspired by cryotherapy for optimum muscle recovery and deep relaxation for body and mind. And who knows, you may spot a fellow spa-goer sporting a bronze, silver or gold medal unwinding after the competition of a lifetime.
