Gird your loins
Meryl Streep’s cutting one-liners, iconic outfits and the oh-so-loveable Stanley Tucci: we will never tire of The Devil Wears Prada. The film has developed cult status since it launched back in 2006, spawning thousands of memes and TikTok trends – with many quotes from it now embedded into our culture (Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking). So of course any new take on the film piques our interest. The latest? An immersive dining experience where you can eat what you see on screen.
A Devil Wears Prada-Themed Dining Experience Is Coming To London
Running in collaboration with Taste Film at The Refinery City Point, the experience will involve a five-course menu of dishes and drinks inspired by the show, which you can enjoy while watching along – with each element served at precise points in the movie.
To begin: Bagels Over Bottega, a selection of mini smoked salmon cream cheese bagels, ahead of Steaks Are High, an 8oz sirloin steak served with lyonnaise potatoes and tenderstem broccoli. Dessert, meanwhile, will be A Taste for Paris, a sweet chocolate ganache topped with roasted strawberries. Vegan alternatives are also available.

So what about the drinks? Naturally, coffee will feature (on time of course, no waiting for Miranda Priestly), in the form of a hot espresso martini. Diners will also be served a Penthouse Party Punch, a pornstar royale cocktail that pays homage to New York.
Kicking off on the same day as London Fashion Week (15 September), screenings will take place on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays across September and October.
Part of the Drake & Morgan collection, The Refinery City Point is a bar and restaurant located in Moorgate, complete with an outdoor terrace and all-day menu.
