When it comes to bridalwear, no one does it quite like our homegrown British designers. And the latest evidence comes courtesy of Halfpenny London, which has just unveiled its brand new 20th anniversary collection, aptly titled ‘Twenty’.

In 2005, designer Kate Halfpenny made the leap from celebrity stylist to bridalwear designer – launching her eponymous label, Halfpenny London a few years later in 2012. Now, two decades after her first foray into bridal, she’s one of the UK capital’s go-to destinations for chic wedding dresses, bridal separates and accessories.
It’s this journey that has inspired Halfpenny London’s latest collection, ‘Twenty’, a retrospective line of bridalwear exploring the designer’s most beloved style highlights.
Playing on the label’s contemporary design tenets, ‘Twenty’ is an edit of 20 garments that – in true Halfpenny fashion – can be mix and matched to create a truly unique look for each bride. Spotlighting familiar structured silhouettes, flowing fabrics and dainty lace detailing, fans of the label can expect the usual favourites: classic corseted tops, (removable) puff sleeves and layered skirts that build in texture and volume.
