Ballet flats just got jellified
By now, we’ve all seen The Row‘s viral jelly ballerinas. Making their debut in Paris for brand’s pre-fall 2024 runway show, these shoes have since become a hit amongst the style savvy. But while The Row teamed up their ballerinas with blazers, scarves and trench coats, we’re wondering how to take the wardrobe staple from autumn to summer. Not sure were to start? We’ve rounded up some of our favourite seasonal looks (as well as our favourite pairs of jelly ballerinas) below.

How To Wear Jelly Ballerinas This Summer
City Exploring
Whether your summer plans involve a glamorous city break or exploring the big smoke on your doorstep, chances are you’ll need a comfy outfit to run around in. A loose-fit, flowing dress is the ultimate fuss-free wardrobe staple this season, and presents the perfect stage for spotlighting your jelly ballerinas. We love the addition of a raffia bag and a long necklace, for an extra pinch boho chic.

Beach Day
Who says jelly doesn’t work on the beach? Ditch the flip flops and sandals this time round, and team up your (cool, breathable) ballet flats with a swimming costume and cover-up. A pop of colour never goes amiss at the beach, so make sure to wear your brightest pair.

Riviera Cruising
Speaking of the beach, if sand doesn’t appeal so much, you can take your jellies along the coast on foot or by boat. Elevate your seafront style by teaming up linens and natural, woven textures with flats in a complementary shade. You’ll be exuding quiet luxury in no time.

Relaxed Fit
Jelly ballerinas don’t need to be saved for ‘dress up’ occasions, though. You can quite easily wear them for everyday errands and quiet days in the office. We love the idea of wearing a pretty pair of flats with a pair of dark lightweight trousers and a strappy tank top, for an airy, put-together look.

The Summer Co-ord
Summer is an opportune time to crack out the linens – and we love them best as a co-ord. Whether a shirt and trousers, vest and shorts or crop top and skirt, these sets will make all the hard decisions for you when it comes to finding an outfit. The addition of a jelly ballerina can help elevate the look with a little more colour and texture.
